Slumber Standard started because our founder kept running into the same wall: article after article about sleep repeated the same unsourced claims, dressed up with different headlines. Tracing any single number back to an actual study was nearly impossible.
So the site was built around one rule: no claim gets published without a name attached to it, whether that's a study, a specialist, or a reader's own account. Every draft passes through a second editor whose job is to check that rule, not to polish prose.
The reader-first part is just as deliberate. No brand pays for placement here, corrections are logged where readers can see them, and topic suggestions from actual readers regularly become full articles within weeks.
